About Cami
Cami grew up in the Mountain West and currently resides in Denver. Her passion for art began early and shaped the course of her life. For six years she studied under artist Donna O. Kearney, a spirited and soulful mentor who nurtured creativity and encouraged bold expression. Cami carried those lessons with her and later earned a bachelors degree in Fine Arts.
Cami’s work centers on nature—from craggy moss-covered cliff faces to the organic forms of wildflowers and gnarled pines. In 2008, a road trip through the National Parks of the West became a defining moment in her creative life. Standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon, she imagined the Colorado River carving its path over millions of years, a living time-lapse of geological memory. The sculpted curves of Antelope Canyon, the soaring granite walls of Yosemite, the ancient giants of the Sequoia and Redwood forests, and the colorful springs and geysers of Yellowstone deepened her sense of scale and wonder. The immensity of these landscapes offered a renewed perspective. She felt humbled and small, but also exhilarated—driven to express their grandeur through art.

Inspiration
Cami draws inspiration from classical influences such as Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh. By merging Monet’s soft impressionistic style with the thick impasto of Van Gogh, she explores how the human eye perceives depth, texture, and movement. Her primary medium is oil on canvas.
